WHY ROUGH CUT?
Making a film is a crazy undertaking. So, why do so many people do it? In this podcast, we dive inside the heads of today’s top emerging nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to uncover the hard lessons learned and the constant struggles that unite us all. After all, each filmmaker’s experience is unique and can teach us quite a lot about our own creative process—video or otherwise. Launched in January 2019, Rough Cut is a meditation on how and why we do what we do.
